European Management Graduate Program - Marketing, Caerphilly (UK)

Introduction

The Recycling division of DS Smith provides integrated recycling and waste management services, ranging from simple recycling collections through to full recycling and waste management solutions.

DS Smith is Europe’s largest cardboard and paper recycler, and one of the leading full recycling and waste management companies. They do not invest in landfill as their aim is to turn 100% of the resources into something useful once more. In fact, they have been diverting waste away from landfill and driving forward quality recycling for more than 40 years, allowing businesses to focus on what they do best.

Why choose DS Smith?

More than just a recycling company, DS Smith Recycling is also part of the DS Smith Plc group, a leading manufacturer of customer-specific packaging and speciality paper in Europe. Today it employs around 27,000 people in 37 countries worldwide with revenue of £4,781m.

Their link to manufacturing makes DS Smith different to other companies in the recycling sector, as the materials that are collected for the paper and packaging operations are recycled and turned into new products, creating a real closed-loop solution for their customers.
